Established in 1847\, the Trigg Ranch is a six-generation working cattle farm located in Bastrop County. The Trigg Ranch is opening its gates to allow us this unique opportunity to camp along its shoreline. \n\n\n\nWhat this event includes:-Meals\, including a packed lunch for the float-Access to private land on the Colorado River-Mentors to help with fishing strategies and education – conventional or fly! -Caravan ride to drop off point at Fisherman’s Park on Saturday. *Note: The float is a little over 5 miles and can take well over 3 hours to complete without stopping. Established in 1847\, the Trigg Ranch is a six generation working cattle farm located on the Colorado River. The afternoon will start with check in and a safety briefing before open clay shooting and a fun game of “knock out” where all winning participants will recieve some nice swag to take home. Established in 1847\, the Trigg Ranch is a six-generation working cattle farm located in Bastrop County. The Trigg Ranch is opening its gates to allow us this unique opportunity to camp along its shoreline. \n\n\n\nWhat this event includes:-Meals\, including a packed lunch for the float-Access to private land on the Colorado River-Mentors to help with fishing strategies and education – conventional or fly! -Caravan ride to drop off point at Fisherman’s Park on Saturday. *Note: The float is a little over 5 miles and can take well over 3 hours to complete without stopping. There are no excessive rapids however\, you should expect to be on the water up to 4 or 5 hours. -Kayak rental\, if neededWhat you need: – Tent\, sleeping bag\, camp chair and toiletries– Valid Texas Fishing license– Fishing rod and reel – conventional or fly-Water shoes or sandals \n\n\n\nQuestions about this event? SUMMARY:Stewards of the Wild - Shotgun Shooting 101 with Colorado River Land Trust
DESCRIPTION:Join the Austin Stewards of the Wild and Colorado River Land Trust for a clay shoot at a gorgeous\, protected property in the Hill Country about an 1 hour west of Austin. The shoot will be followed by a delicious lunch beneath the shade of bald cypress. \n\n\n\nThis event is for both beginners and those accustomed to using a shotgun. Tickets are $55 per person! \n\n\n\n\nTICKETS\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nWe will meet at the ranch gate at 10 AM.\, have a shotgun shooting 101 and refresher course for everyone. We will then shoot clays for a couple of hours while expert shooters assist those who need or want advice. Around 12 PM we will have lunch under the trees next to Cypress Creek. After lunch\, you may continue to shoot\, grab a drink and network\, or depart. Everyone will depart at 2 PM. \n\n\n\nPlease bring your own shotgun\, shells\, hearing and eye protection. If you do not have a shotgun or access to one\, there will likely be some that can be borrowed\, although this is not guaranteed.

DESCRIPTION:Texas Wildlife Association (TWA) invites you to join our Adult Learn to Hunt Program (ALHP) and Colorado River Land Trust (CRLT) for a fun afternoon of clay shooting overlooking the beautiful Trigg Ranch in Bastrop County.
